In Dutch: Voortgezet onderwijs
Secondary education in The Netherlands is divided in 3 levels. Highest level is Pre-university secondary education, second is higher general secondary education and last is preparatory middle-level vocational education.
Generally, secondary education takes between 4 and 6 years to complete, depending on the level.
